GeekTuts | Web related guides, tutorials and advice

Hello and welcome to GeekTuts. Your readership is much appreciated and we certainly hope you have benefited from one or more of our articles.

My name is Dan and GeekTuts is the culmination of knowledge I have gained over a 10 year period in the web industry. There are many great blogs and websites out there directed at freelance web professionals and this is why I wanted GeekTuts to target people new to world of setting up websites, running their own blog or making money online. The web has evolved a great deal since the days I began experimenting, so much so that it is possible to set up and run a website without having to get your hands “dirty” with code.

I firmly believe that we all have an inner “geek” and many of my clients over the years have enjoyed the challenge of running their own website. GeekTuts aims to take the fear factor away from people who want to set up their own site for the very first time as well as guiding them away from the many pitfalls. The majority of articles are based on my own experiences over the years or questions I am asked weekly by clients or friends.

Whilst planning GeekTuts I put together a list of people this blog would definitely benefit such as hobbyist’s looking to blog, business owners, sports teams, photographers, freelancers and anyone wanting to make money online. If you don’t fit into any of these categories but GeekTuts has helped you!! Let me know and I’ll add you in.
