What is adF.ly?
AdF.ly is a website that offers a link shortening service with a twist. The twist being that it imbeds adverts into the shortened urls and it is these ads that make you money.

If you are new to the world of making money online adF.ly is a great way to start. It really is easy as you will see below, apart from being low risk and completely free to start up. I’ve been using adF.ly for one of my background incomes just under a year now and I cannot recommend it enough.

How to make money with adF.ly
The general process is for you to shrink urls on the site then post the links on Twitter, forums, blogs, youtube, your website (if you have one) etc. The link needs to be something popular that it will generate a lot of click throughs. Once clicked on the user will be taken to a browser where an advert will be displayed for 5 seconds then a skip ad button will appear and when the user clicks on it they will be taken to the links destination.

AdF.ly offer several ways to make money and I am now going to take you through them, one at a time.

Interstitial ads – This is the default method and in my opinion the best of the 3 ad options, not least because it pays the highest. With the Interstitial ad Option, the viewer will be faced with a full page ad for 5 seconds before they can continue.

Framed banner ads – This method is less intrusive to the viewer as it only has a banner in the header of the page but it pays less than the interstitial ads.

Full page scripts – This is not something I would suggest for a business website as it may annoy your clients.

ReferralsAdF.ly offers a fantastic referral programme which pays 20% of earnings for life from anyone your refer to the site. This is an option you can try on it’s own or you can run it alongside your above campaigns. If you notch up 10 referrals that each generate £10 in earnings a day which will leave you with £20 a day for life.

It is that simple, the key is numbers. The more links you have online plus the more people you can get to click the links will increase the amount you make.

That concludes our look at making money with adF.ly. I hope you have found this article useful and most of all that you go on to generate a profitable income stream with adF.ly.
